Theres a boom in the shot.

Hello folks!

I hope all of you who are watching "A Christmas Story" or "It's A Wonderful Life" or any other cliche Christmas movie are finding enjoyment out of it. Also, I hope you are enjoy this lovely snow-coated, cinnamon scented season.

I arrived in the beautiful, majestic land of Indiana, PA. tonight. Alright, alright, so at times it may not be the most beautiful place; but I'm very excited to see my friends, my family, and all who else contribute to making this place so much more beautiful than it can be.

And of course, the short that I have been writing is nearing it's end. So be sure to follow up on that:]. It's about a young man that goes by the name of Zed. He's socially awkard, but who isn't sometimes?

Have a lovely evening, and a terrific holiday.

Cookies, cinnamon, cozyness, zombie movies, hot chocolate, and love,

Alex

Update

So this weekend was crazy. The holidays are overcoming everyone as Christmas draws nigh. I yesterday decided to go and check out Jim Lee at the Midtown Downtown comic book store. I will post a link to an article on here later this week.

I also made an effort to head to a Barnes and Noble to get a little Ecosystem notebook so I can do some writing while I'm on the train or at work. Believe it or not but they didn't have any on the floor due the fact that their not "popular" as moleskin and don't sell as well. What? I love those freaking books. Their helpful to the environment man. Pure recycled paper, and when you don't want your book any more you send it into them and the use to make a new one. Well anyway due to my passion for having one a sales representative went to the stock room and got me a nice green one. Now that's what the holidays are all about.

So I started writing a new short story that I will illustrate called Delivered. So sttay tune and you'll see more on the blog as I make progress. Ok ok ok now go out and buy some presents for those you love before it's too late.

Me and The Giving Tree

A couple of days ago I decided to walk into a Barnes and Nobles not too far from where I work. As I was walking into the store bopping my head to the so amazing music coming from my headphones a green book brought me to a sudden stand still.

I couldn’t believe it. Stacked high were these hardcover versions of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. My heart temporarily stop beating and a tear came to my eye as the memories of first grade came rushing to mind. I picked up the book and looked through the simple illustrations. I remember how this book had an everlasting effect on me. This book is one of the main reasons why I am who I am. After purchasing and re-reading it, it reminded me what true love is. It’s more than a feeling. True love is sacrifice.

This book has a special place in my bookshelf and will not leave until it’s time to hand it down to my kin.

Just had to share.

Tonight, my computer hangs by a mere thread.

My computer is borderline dead. So I figured, I would let you know where I am with the current short I am working on. Some parts currently relate to my life, other parts not so much. If you enjoy cynicism, underdogs, high school awkwardness, teen angst, and love. You should have a good time reading this. It should be complete by sometime next week, or if my computer fails me, it may take a little longer. We'll see what is in the cards for this. Be optimistic. ;]

Oh, The High Times

If you don't know, I'm a cartoonist for my college paper. I just finished this third strip. It's past its due date but will still be on time to be printed. Thought I would share it here since I know no one reads it in the paper. I hope to collect all these when their done and sell them at my local comic shop. Enjoy!

Hey you...Be Prepared

My boy Alex basically said it all. I'm just as excited to see where this blog will take our creativity. Yea I hope to write and draw some epic comics, short stories, but I also hope that this little blog of ours will spark some of the greatest entertainment to come. Yea I tend to dream big. Pardon me. Just be prepared to be inspired. Let's get em Alex.

Hey there folks! How's it hanging? Do you like short stories? Do you like comics? If the answer is yes, then get your reading glasses ready! If the computer monitor has already burned out your retinas, you may be out of luck (sorry, no braille edition... yet.).
Anywho, be ready to check out whats to come from Dame, and myself. We greatly appreciate it.

And! If you don't understand the title of the blog.. I'm sure you can put two and two together.
